En Chris Anderson, creador dels TED ha anunciat que ja està en marxa el projecte anomenat TEDEducation.
TED-Ed vol que la veu i els mètodes dels grans educadors de tot el món disposin d’un espai. La seva finalitat és produir uns vídeos que serveixin per augmentar el coneixement en el món educatiu, utilitzant noves i interessants eines d’aprenentatge.
TED-Ed representa la unió de varis elements molt actuals, com el talent, la passió, la creativitat, les xarxes socials, els coneixements i les persones.
